With internal slips resulting in 81,000 hospital admissions in 2007, all managers and owners should be aware 
of the potential risks. To put this in perspective, there were fives times more internals slip incidents that resulted in hospitalisation than there were car accidents.
All organisations have responsibility under the DDA (Disability and Discrimination Act) to make provisions for both staff and visitor safety - including floors and entrances.
